Removing the spare wheel: Loosen the nuts (Fig. 239,1) on the right and left rear hooks (Fig. 239,2) of
the spare wheel support.
Unscrew the wheel nuts approx. 3 to 4 cm.
Pull the bar (Fig. 239,3) slightly upwards. At the same time, pull down the
hooks and unhook the bar.
Take down the basket and remove the spare wheel.
13.7 Spare wheel support (special equipment)
The spare wheel support is built into the rear garage.
Removing the spare wheel:
Open external flap of the rear garage.
Loosen and remove both fixing screws (Fig. 240,2) with the on-board tool
set.
Remove the spare wheel (Fig. 240,1) from the support (Fig. 240,3).
13.8 Tyre pressure

X Tyres overheat if the tyre pressure is too low. This can cause serious
tyre damage.
X Check tyre pressure before a journey or every 2 weeks. Wrong tyre
pressure causes excessive wear and can lead to damage or even to tyre
burst. You can lose control of the vehicle.
X Use only valves that are approved for the specified tyre pressure.
